> 4 TIPS TO HELP YOU CHOOSE THE IDEAL PROPERTY TO BUY:
Do not think only about your current marital status. Properties are very durable. That is why it is important to make your choice based not only on today, but also on your life plans. You can find houses and apartments of different sizes, and this will also affect the number of bedrooms the property has. If you plan to live alone, consider whether the home you are about to buy will meet your needs for at least the medium term. A one-bedroom apartment for a single person, for example, may accommodate a future spouse and even a baby in a crib. But if starting a family is closer to your reality, it may be best to evaluate properties with 2 or even 3 bedrooms. In this way, you secure a home that can accommodate your life plans.
> Location is a relevant factor. Check whether the properties you are considering are well located. This does not necessarily mean being in a central area, but rather having good infrastructure nearby to meet everyday and unexpected needs. Get to know the neighborhood: check for pharmacies, bakeries, supermarkets, health clinics, schools, as well as good public transportation coverage. This will be necessary and, in the end, can save you a great deal of effort.
> Evaluate whether the "amenities" meet your needs Number of bathrooms, parking spaces, elevator, accessibility, built-in closets… Each has its usefulness depending on your needs and therefore must be taken into consideration. For those who own cars or motorcycles, not having a parking space can generate a high monthly cost that, in the end, will be much more expensive than investing a little more for these features, for example. The same applies if an apartment does not have a utility area large enough for a washing machine. With the rush of everyday life, it is not always possible to wash clothes by hand, and the lack of space for a washer can create recurring laundry expenses that would make it impossible to cover all costs. Therefore, pay attention to your needs, calculate everything carefully, and make a choice that is more aligned and feasible.
> Make sure your dream matches your financial reality. You may dream of having a larger apartment, with a utility area, spacious bedrooms, and everything else. However, before you start searching, be realistic: assess your financial possibilities. Even with a good down payment using FGTS funds, financing can be expensive due to interest rates, and no one knows what tomorrow will bring. So do not aim higher than you can handle. Evaluate the available budget, run financing simulations, and only then look for the property. This way, you can align your dream with your reality and avoid taking on something you cannot fulfill. By paying attention to these tips, you will certainly make a more advantageous deal. So be sure to consider these items!
